If you are a staff member on a G-4 visa in the United States and in a domestic partnership, and your partner is on a derivative G-4 visa, please know that the State Department is now requiring that you be legally married in order to continue to be able to secure a derivative G-4 visa for your partner.

Read MoreFor the first time ever, the rainbow flag will be on display in the UN Office at Nairobi (UNON). And for the first time ever, IDAHOBIT will be celebrated at UNON. The event will feature speeches from three Ambassadors; the deputy head of UNON; and most importantly, Kenyan LGBTI activists. Among them will be the Kenyan LGBTI group that has legally challenged Kenyan laws criminalizing sexual acts between males.
